New Milestone of Stanta Mauser Malaysia
Shah Alam, 11th February 2009 – Stanta Mauser Malaysia, a unit of Mauser AG and the leading steel drum manufacturer in Malaysia, today celebrated the inauguration of its new steel drum production facility (BR Line 2) at the company’s headquarter in Bukit Raja Shah Alam.
The RM 20 mil BR Line 2 was officiated by Menteri Besar of Selangor, YAB Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Bin Ibrahim and is the second new production facility in two years which has certainly marked another major milestone for the company. The first new innovative production facility (BR Line 1) was launched together with the official opening of Stanta Mauser Malaysia Headquarter at Bukit Raja in year 2007.
“With this new facility, Stanta Mauser Malaysia now has three state-of-art manufacturing lines which are located strategically within the country with a total production capacity of 8,000 drums per day. This latest jewel to our crown has certainly created a platform for Stanta Mauser Malaysia to route, expand and replicate our success in the industrial packaging business not just in Malaysia but also into South East Asia,” said Mr Tan Ching Chai, Ahli Mangku Negara, Stanta Mauser Malaysia’s CEO. It is added that the value creation through innovation and product quality excellence is the key success factor for Stanta Mauser Malaysia.
According to Mr Tan, Stanta Mauser Malaysia also provides a clean, healthy and safe working environment for all employees and thus generating varied economic contributions to the states and country. Not only that, the general public will also benefit from their passion for “Greenish Environment”.
